Kagiso Rabada surpasses Allan Donald to become South Africa’s fourth-highest wicket-taker in Test cricket during the ICC WTC 2023-25 final.

Kagiso Rabada claimed a five-wicket haul against Australia in the ICC World Test Championship (WTC) 2023-25 final. In the highly anticipated ICC WTC 2023-25 final, South Africa and Australia are battling it out at Lord’s in London. South African captain Temba Bavuma won the toss and chose to bowl first.

South Africa’s bowling attack impressed in the first innings against the Pat Cummins-led Australian side. Leading the pace attack, Kagiso Rabada took center stage by securing a five-wicket haul. The right-arm pacer broke the deadlock by dismissing opener Usman Khawaja for a 20-ball duck.

Rabada went on to dismiss Cameron Green, Beau Webster, Pat Cummins, and Mitchell Starc, becoming only the second bowler to take five wickets in an ICC WTC final, following New Zealand’s Kyle Jamieson. Thanks to Rabada’s outstanding performance at Lord’s, South Africa bowled out Australia for just 212 runs in their first innings.
