Aniket Verma played a brilliant knock of 74 off 41 balls before being caught by Jake Fraser-McGurk. The 10th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 between Delhi Capitals (DC) and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) is currently taking place at the Dr. Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium in Visakhapatnam.
Batting first, SRH got off to a disastrous start, collapsing to 37/4 within the first four overs. DC’s Mitchell Starc wreaked havoc on the top order, dismissing Ishan Kishan and Travis Head in quick succession to derail the innings.
However, Hyderabad found a much-needed partnership between Aniket Verma and Heinrich Klaasen, who added 77 runs for the fifth wicket. Aniket, in particular, took charge of the attack, blasting 74 off 41 balls, including five fours and six sixes.
DC got a breakthrough in the 16th over when Kuldeep Yadav dismissed Aniket Verma with a short ball that was mistimed straight to Jake Fraser-McGurk at deep midwicket. The ball looked set to clear the boundary, but JFM’s well-timed jump ended Aniket’s innings.

As of the latest update, DC have made an impressive start to their chase, reaching 52/0 in 5.3 overs. Faf du Plessis is leading the charge with 32 off 18 balls, while Fraser-McGurk is not out on 18, still finding his rhythm.
Mitchell Starc’s brilliant performance of 5/35 in the first innings has been the standout contribution between the two teams so far.
