Asia Cup 2025 is scheduled to take place in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) from September 9 to 28. The Asian Cricket Council (ACC) announced the complete tournament schedule on Saturday, July 26. This edition of the Asia Cup will be played in the T20 International (T20I) format, culminating with the final on September 28.
Eight teams will compete: India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, Hong Kong, UAE, and Oman. The tournament will begin with the group stage. Asia Cup, Group A will feature India, Pakistan, UAE, and Oman, while Group B will include Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Afghanistan, and Hong Kong. Each team will play against every other team in their group once. The top two teams from each group will advance to the Super Four stage, where they will face the other three teams once more.
The two teams with the highest points in the Super Four stage will clash in the final on September 28.
Asia Cup 2025: India and Pakistan Set to Battle on September 14

The highly anticipated showdown between arch-rivals India and Pakistan is scheduled for September 14. If both teams advance to the Super Four stage, they will meet again. There’s also a possibility of a third clash if they both reach the final.
India will kick off their tournament campaign on September 10 against the UAE. Following their face-off with Pakistan on September 14, the Men in Blue will wrap up the group stage by taking on Oman on September 19.
